Markstream is an MIT-licensed family of streaming Markdown renderers built for AI chat and LLM interfaces. It keeps incomplete Markdown readable as tokens arrive, avoiding flicker, broken syntax, and layout jumps. Framework packages support Vue/Nuxt/VitePress, React/Next.js/Remix, Svelte 5, Angular, and Vue 2, with a framework-agnostic parser and core. Optional integrations include Shiki, Mermaid, KaTeX, Monaco, D2, and ECharts, plus SSR, safe HTML policies, custom components, worker support, and long-document virtualization.
